About the Halo Care Collective
The Vision
The vision for the Halo Care Collective (the “HCC”) was inspired by a visit to Morgan’s Multi-Assistance Center in San Antonio, Texas. The HCC is intended to be a facility specifically designed and adapted to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and special needs through comprehensive and coordinated services.
Therapy
The HCC will provide an affordable home for multiple non-profit organizations providing a range of benefits for those with special needs. These will include providers of a wide range of therapies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, music therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mental heath therapy.
Employment/Job Training
The HCC will be a home for agencies providing job training and vocational rehabilitation. These agencies will help train and prepare individuals to be productive members of the work force.
Legal Services
The HCC will be home to one or more providers of legal services who can provide assistance and advice to HCC clients as they manage the wide range of legal situations and challenges that they may encounter in life.
Hair and Nail Salon
One of the many helpful features of the HCC will be its hair and nail salon, with facilities and trained staff members who are sensitive and equipped to provide professional-grade hair and nail services to individuals with special needs.
Community Partners
The HCC will be a home for a range of community partners who will facilitate a wide range of educational and social participation events so that all individuals can feel more connected to their communities.
Financial Planning
The HCC will help to facilitate comprehensive financial planning and related services for individuals with disabilities or special needs and their families.
